For those making your first visit to the Complex, you will discover all the space history you can absorb in one day, from Rocket Garden, Robot Scouts and U.S. Astronauts Hall of Fame® to fun-filled Children’s Play Dome. Then be thrown for a loop with a visit to one of the new additions here – “app legend” Angry Birds® Space Encounter. And if you’ve been here before, you’re going to want to come back just to see the majestic, awe-inspiring Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit that opened in the summer of 2013. Experience this historic vessel like an astronaut on a space walk – up close and personal.

Cape_Satellite_ViewKennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is just a short drive from Orlando, Daytona Beach and Miami. The Complex is located just to the west on 405. Use GPS coordinates, 28o31’34.10″N and 80o40’45.12″W. This will bring you to the intersection of our entrance.

Please note that Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is located on federal property. Please be advised of traffic speed limits as this area is very heavily patrolled for traffic violations.

Driving to Kennedy Space Visitors Complex

From Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach on State Road 528 
Travel north on A1A to SR 528 west. Take the SR 3 exit (exit # 49) towards Merritt Island/Kennedy Space Center. Turn right (north) onto SR 3 and continue north for approximately ten miles. Turn left (west) onto Space Commerce Way. Turn right (east) onto SR 405. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is located on your right.


From Orlando on State Road 50 
Travel east on SR 50 until you pass under the I-95 overpass. At the next intersection, turn right (east) onto SR 405 and follow the signs for Kennedy Space Center. You will travel approximately 11 miles on SR 405. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is located on your right.
