Space Coast Beaches – The Reason for Being Here!

Brevard has some of the best beaches on the East Coast. Maybe this is a local prejudice, but they are varied due to the Cape’s position stretching out from the main coast. Access is easy, and if you know where to go, parking is free. So grab that cooler, beach chairs, towels and suntan lotion and enjoy that day on the beach.

If you need beach gear, then almost every retail store in the area can supply you with what ever you need. For kids, you find inexpensive buggy boards, as well as inflatable rafts and other items for fun in the surf and sand.

In many cases, a local restaurant or bar is just a couple of blocks away. So you can throw on a shirt and shoes and walk for a snack, meal, or just a refreshment.

Unless it is a major summer holiday, most areas are uncrowded. Even then you can find a special deserted spot for yourself. Check the tides and if you want to take a long walk, low tide is the time. You’ll find a few locals early in the early morning or late evening getting their exercise in before and after the heat. If there is a good breeze, then anytime of day is good.
